EBO (Ethylene Bis Oleamide) CAS NO.: 110-31-6 is a synthetic wax. Used as lubricants, brightening agents, lubricants, anti sticking agents, and release agents in plastics, as well as anti-static agents for glass paper.
EBO is suitable for internal and external lubricants of ABS, polystyrene, polyvinyl chloride, nylon, cellulose acetate, polyvinyl acetate, and phenolic resins; Especially suitable for polyethylene and polypropylene films.
Can be used as a pigment grinding agent and pigment dispersant, polyamide paraffin coupling agent. Can improve the compatibility and thermal aging stability of polypropylene filled with talc. Other paraffin and wax resin blends, as well as melting point modifiers for asphalt and tar.
Ethylene Bis Oleamide has lubricity and can enhance the performance of crayons, petroleum products, inks, asphalt, metals, and textiles. As a release agent, it can be used for thermoplastic resins in injection molding. It can be used as a defoamer and waterproof component in both industrial and household applications. As a corrosion inhibitor, it forms an adsorption film on the metal surface to protect the metal surface. It can also improve the compatibility between paraffin and resin, such as being used as a blending agent for floor wax and shoe polish.
Ethylene Bis Oleamide is used to bond adhesive tapes, which can maintain smoothness and prevent adhesion. Can be used in coatings, enamels, varnishes, and natural paints to increase the chemical resistance of coatings. It is also used to produce oils and lubricants that improve friction performance, such as tractor lubricants, industrial lubricants, etc. It is used as an intermediate of textile emulsifier, softener and durable waterproof agent, and a foam stabilizer of household detergent. Ethylene Bis Oleamide can also be used as a defoamer for the treatment of ferrous acetate black liquor, fabric dyeing, and latex systems in the paper industry.
