1. Zinc acrylate is primarily used as a crosslinking agent in rubber compounding, particularly in golf ball cores, shoe soles, and industrial elastomers, where Zinc acrylate enhances tensile strength, resilience, and heat resistance.
2. Zinc acrylate is used as a key component in self-polishing antifouling marine coatings, where Zinc acrylate undergoes ion exchange with seawater to release Zn²⁺ ions and prevent biofouling.
3. Zinc acrylate is utilized in biomedical applications including dental adhesives, hydrogel stents, drug delivery systems, and as a monomer for developing zinc oxide thin films for optoelectronic devices.
Packed in 5kg/bag, 25kg/drum, 200kg/drum
1. Wear protective gloves (nitrile rubber, 0.11 mm thickness, 480 min breakthrough time), safety goggles or face shield, and protective clothing when handling Zinc acrylate to prevent skin and eye contact.
2. Avoid breathing dust of Zinc acrylate, use adequate ventilation such as local exhaust or fume hood, and wear a dust mask with filter type P3 (EN 143) or P100 (USA) if dust is generated.
3. Wash hands thoroughly after handling Zinc acrylate, wash contaminated clothing before reuse, and do not eat, drink, or smoke when using Zinc acrylate.
1. If inhaled, move the person exposed to Zinc acrylate to fresh air and keep at rest in a position comfortable for breathing; if not breathing, provide artificial respiration and seek immediate medical advice.
2. If in eyes, rinse Zinc acrylate cautiously with water for several minutes, remove contact lenses if present, continue rinsing, and immediately call a poison center or physician.
3. If swallowed, rinse mouth with water, do NOT induce vomiting, and call a poison center or doctor immediately.
1. Store Zinc acrylate in a tightly closed container in a cool, dry, well-ventilated place, and keep Zinc acrylate locked up in an area accessible only to qualified personnel.
2. Store Zinc acrylate away from incompatible materials including strong oxidizing agents, bases, free radical initiators, heat, light, and UV radiation, as Zinc acrylate may undergo spontaneous polymerization.
3. Recommended storage temperature is as specified on the product label, with Zinc acrylate being light sensitive and heat sensitive.
